Course summary:

This MACP-approved course provides educational opportunities that will enable physiotherapists to develop the knowledge, research understanding and clinical, analytical and reasoning skills required for physiotherapy assessment and management of patients with neuromusculoskeletal conditions. 

 

Program modules:

Physiotherapy Practice in the Lower Quadrant, Physiotherapy Practice in the Upper Quadrant, Clinical Education in Neuromusculoskeletal Physiotherapy, Research Process & Practice applied to Tissues in Health & Disease, Muscle & Exercise Physiology, Neuroscience, Pain & Rehabilitation and Research Project in Advanced Physiotherapy (Neuromusculoskeletal).

 

Entry requirements for International students:

Minimum second class honours or equivalent degree in physiotherapy. A minimum of one year's experience working as a physiotherapist assessing and managing clients with musculoskeletal problems is required. Registered with the Health Professional Council (HPC) and membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists.
