Course summary: 

This Programme has been designed to allow a sports therapist or a physiotherapist to continue professional and educational development by consolidating, enhancing and extending their expertise and abilities with a combination of academic and practical learning in sports therapy and rehabilitation. 

 

Program modules: 

Management of Sports Injuries and Sports Specific Rehabilitation, Sport and Exercise Research Project, Sports Therapy for Special Populations, Understanding Research in Sport and Exercise Science and one optional module (Clinical Science 2: Vertebral Mobilisations or Student Learning) 

 

Entry requirement for International students: 

Applicants should normally have a good honours degree in sports therapy, physiotherapy or any related rehabilitation discipline. An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check (formerly an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check) is required for this course.
